Seri Notebook baru ini tersedia dalam 3 ukuran yaitu 34 cm (13.3”), 35.5 (14”) and 40 cm (15.6”), dengan LED WSGA dengan 16:9 aspect ratio, resolusi 1366X768 HD.

Selain tahan lama, TravelMate 8×72 juga sangat tipis, sekitar 1 inchi (2.5 cm saja) dan ringan sekali dengan berat 1.6 kg untuk 13.3” model sampai 2.6 kg untuk layar 15.6”.

Kapasitas harddisk juga besar, sampai 640 GB dan SSD sampai 160 GB serta dilengkapi multi-in-1 card reader dan DVD optical drive.
Selain itu seri ini juga dilengkapi solusi Acer Video Conference, dan webcam Acer Crystal Eye 1.3 MP serta mikrosoft built-in.

Dan untuk keamanan, notebook ini juga dilengkapi Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint dan yang oke punya juga dilengkapi teknologi anti guncangan Acer DASP (Disk Anti-Shock Protection).

VIVAnews - Setelah lama dinanti-nanti oleh penggila game tanah air, akhirnya Dell Indonesia memenuhi janjinya untuk memasarkan notebook gaming, Alienware M11x, di pameran komputer Mega Bazaar 2010.

Namun, notebook ultra portable laptop berukuran 11,6 inci ini dibanderol dengan harga yang lumayan lebih tinggi di banding di negara asalnya Amerika Serikat (AS). 

Bila di AS harga dasar dari laptopgaming ini mulai dari US$ 799, di Mega Bazaar Dell Indonesia membanderol dengan harga US$ 1.500 atau sekitar Rp 13,9 juta.

Dell Alienware M11x sendiri diluncurkan secara global pada ajang Consumer Electronic Show di Las Vegas Amerika Serikat, Januari lalu.

Laptop seukuran netbook itu ditenagai oleh prosesor Core 2 Duo, memori DDR3 1066 MHz hingga 8 GB, serta kapasitas hard disk drive hingga 500 GB 7200 rpm atau 256 GB SSD.

Istimewanya, laptop ini dilengkapi dengan pemroses grafis NVIDIA GT335M sehingga pengguna bakal bisa menikmati kualitas visual yang lebih mumpuni dari sebuah netbook.

Namun, ini menyediakan switch yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk beralih kepada grafis internal, agar tak terlalu boros tenaga. Dengan mode grafis internal ini, baterai laptop bisa bertahan hingga 6,5 jam. 

Alienware yang bobotnya sekitar 2 kg itu,memiliki desain yang futuristik. Dengan simbol kepala Alien yang khas di cover depan, saat laptop dinyalakan, sekujur tombol papan kunci, touchpad, dan daerah lubang kipas pendingin akan menyala. 

Ia juga dilengkapi dengan sepasang speaker yang mampu bersuara nyaring. Selain itu laptop ini juga menyediakan port VGA, keluaran HDMI, serta koneksi USB, Ethernet, serta slot kartu memori ExpressCard.

Kalau di US alienware m11x ini speknya bisa di-customize, jadi harganya bisa berbeda-beda mulai dari yang paling rendah $799.

Noteboook Dell Alienware M11X ini tidak berat, dilengkapi dengan Intel Core 2 Duo dan hardware grafis Nvidia GT35M, namun tanpa Blu-ray drive, juga daya tahan baterai yang mencapai 6.5 jam. NotebookAlienware M11X tersebut bahkan lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan MacBook Pro, yang memiliki GPU yang sama. 

Ketika digunakan untuk bermain game Modern Warfare 2, Dell Alienware M11X ini dapat menghantarkan kecepatan video sebesar 30fps. Kualitas suara juga terdengar jernih dari sepasang speaker di bagian depan, dan ketika body notebook ini diangkat akan tampak cahaya merah yang menyala dari lubang kipas pendingin di bagian depan.

Hal yang menarik dari notebook Dell Alienware M11x adalah display dengan ukuran 11.6 inch dengan resolusi 1,366x768 piksel, warna 1.6 juta, plus port HDMI, VGA dan koneksi DisplayPort, juga keyboard yang dapat berwarna merah menyala.
